Wood Christopher Charles Wood graduated in Music Theater Elon, 10 acts since 8. the first role on TV was an extra in 30 rock did a voiceover job singing a baritone voice playing many instruments. Still in his childhood, Wood started writing plays for his sister and friends to perform and, in the last year of high school, one of his plays was produced by the school's theater program. Soon he started writing and directing short films, which gave him access to the local film festival.
So Chris Wood holds a BA in Fine Arts with a degree in Musical Theater from Elon University, North Carolina. Chris Wood's first professional role was in 2010 in the play Spring Awakening, after which he appeared in Major Crimes, The Carrie Diaries, Girls. In 2014, he played his most famous character, Malachai “Kai” Parker, in the series The Vampire Diaries, which earned him the lead role in the series Containment, soon after, participated in the series Supergirl and appeared on Mercy Street. In 2019, it was the release of The Stew, a short film that Wood wrote, directed and produced. Chris Wood is a co-founder of the campaign, launched in 2017, IDONTMID, a mental health awareness program that works to combat stigma about mental illness

Career After graduation, he played Melchior on the Spring Awakening 2010-2011 national tour. He also played Joe Hardy in the production of Damn Yankees' Paper Mill Playhouse in 2012. He made his film debut in a television movie called Browsers in early 2013. In September 2013, the producers of The Carrie Diaries announced that Chris Wood would join the cast in his second season.
